Recently, we asked for you readers to show off your own personal Oracle of Bullshit abilities. The process was simple, simply fire off an email or comment addressing these three things:
1. Name the team Dany Heatley is traded to (and any other Senators player involved).
2. Name the compensation to Ottawa.
3. Name the date the trade happens.
Whomever is the closest gets bragging rights and a guest piece indicating your own personal offseason predictions for the Sens.
Well, you readers responded and here's what we have:

Some anonymous guy who won't get credit for the creativity of this proposal.
Failing to land a first line winger and a top pairing offensive defenseman plus a top ten first round draft pick from Heatley's list of West Coast teams to trade with, Brian Murray sits on his hands and calls Heatley in for training camp for the 09/10 season. Heatley fails to report, giving Murray the cap room to trade for/sign a few depth positions needed to make Ottawa competitive. Heatley gives in at the trade deadline and is traded to the New York Islanders (who have just fired Garth Snow and conveniently re-hired Mad Mike Milbury) for John Taveres and Mark Streit, who fit perfectly into the Clouston system, becoming integral parts in a successful Stanley Cup championship run next spring!!!! Thank you Heatley and God bless Brian Murray. God bless us everyone really.

In recent years, the best way to figure out what Brian Murray will do is to think of the most annoying thing possible.
So, I'm thinking he'll do nothing at all. Heatley will be here all summer, as will Jason Smith and Chris Kelly. Chris Neil will be signed to a three year deal worth $5.4 million dollars. Mike Comrie will sign elswhere.
Heatley will sulk his way through training camp and suck all the way to Christmas. Sometime just after the all star game, Murray will trade him for a mediocre has been (likely Comrie) and a second round pick.
By then Brian Elliott will be completely burned out after starting every game for a bad team, LeClaire having spent most of the season injured and Alex Auld traded away for a fourth rounder.
The Sens will then once again miss the playoffs and I'll make good on my longstanding threat to abandon cheering for the Sens in favour of women's professional bowling.
