Heatley has killed the deal

Has killed the deal.
He will play in Ottawa next season.
He will not go to Edmonton! ~ Bruce Garrioch, OTP

I just returned home from a BBQ and to quote Ricky from Trailer Park Boys, "I'm drunk as fuck." Anyways, apparently Heater has killed a deal to Edmonton for Penner/Smid/and Cogliano.

A couple of drunken thoughts:

1) Edmonton's offer didn't induce a boner anyways.
2) Kudos to Bruce Garrioch for being the bigger man and not using the title, "Heatley has killed the deal without the use of a Ferrari"
3) It reaffirms what everyone already knows - No one wants to play in Edmonton.
4) SEND HIM TO LA FOR PROSPECTS!
