How Many Disciplinarians Does It Take Before Players Understand the Word Accountability?

Reader Francois sent this in via email and it actually makes some sense:

Do you think that Melnyk was watching the Super Bowl last night and got
caught up in all of the accolades being given to Mike Tomlin and how young he
is? I think Pittsburgh's victory helped seal Hartsburg's fate so that the Sens could bring in a Coach who can "relate" to the guys in the dressing room. Queue the hype!

Does anything Eugene says or does make sense? When people said we were spoiled for those eleven consecutive Playoff appearances, they weren't kidding. This sucks! Right now, I'd actually be cool if Melnyk overpaid Mike Tomlin to come in and coach this squad. Is there any question that if you taught Tomlin the game, and gave him time to learn the nuances, he'd become a better candidate than half the schmucks out there?
