For those fans who aren't exactly enthralled by the Senators' alternate jersey, there may be reason for optimism shortly down the road. In one of the Sens videos playing over on the team's website, Cyril Leeder and Gord Wilson spend a few minutes discussing some of the recent improvements to SBP. One of the improvements is the addition of a new store that's been named as the O-Store in homage of the O-design that was used on the vintage jerseys. ( H/t to SensTown for the link. And the above image is the product of a HFboards user on the Senators board.)
For whatever reason, it seems as though the video player isn't uploading properly to view the video. If you're interested in checking it out, click this link.
Taking Pleasure In Another Team's Loss
According to TSN, the Toronto Maple Leafs have traded Justin Pogge, only the greatest prospect in the history of hockey, to the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a conditional draft pick.
It's still early, but I think I'm undecided as to whether I want to see Pogge develop elsewhere. Is it worse for him to pan out and have the Leafs get better compensation? Or is it worse for the Leafs to get nothing?
