2:05 PM: Curling is on the television while my ExpressVu is informing me that it's supposed to be the Senators versus Penguins. What hell is going on? Did Gary Bettman postpone the start of the game so Sid the Kid could apply some makeup for the national television coverage?
2:06 PM : CBC curling commentators have informed us that they will be changing coverage at the end of this 'end'. I assume that means after they stop throwing rocks down the ice. I can only imagine how many Sens fans are yelling, "Hurry!" at the television. Pull the trigger CBC, pre-emptively pull the plug. Come on, nobody wants to watch out of shape middle aged men with faux-hawks launch stones down a sheet of bumpy ice. Just do it, mercifully end this.
2:08 Wait, CBC teases us with some split screen coverage for the opening puck drop. They then pull it away to give us a great bird's eye perspective of the curling action. They then inform hockey fans to check out their website for those fans who want to watch the Sens game in its entirety. Those shameless bastards!
2:12 PM: Coverage is finally switched to the Sens game. I never thought I'd say that Dean Brown's voice was music to my ears.
